Helping people and teams grow and improve
DARWIN LI - speaker, coach, trainer and podcaster
My name is Darwin and I am a certified leadership and career coach. I have been managing teams for many years in the professional world as well as in sports. I was a competitive paddler and became a National Champion in 2006 in my chosen sport of dragon boat. I transitioned into coaching and have coached many teams and clubs, and was privileged to coach a World Championship team.
I love working with people, leading, and learning. I am a coach, speaker and trainer with the John Maxwell team.
Further, I host a podcast which explores my belief that exceptional individuals have traits, habits or behaviours that have contributed to their success, and I am interested in exploring what these are and sharing these insights with others.
I look forward to evolving with you on your leadership journey!
“Before beginning my work under Darwin’s guidance, I often found myself falling into a sort of default mode: hastily jumping from one opportunity to another, saying yes to new commitments without a lot of forethought. I was living my life as if I was chasing a moving train that was my potential, dealing with the constant fear of not doing or being enough to catch it.
Ever since our first interaction, Darwin challenges my way of thinking and helped me re-program my default mode. Through his insightful questions, he helped me re-consider my boundaries and better understand my intrinsic motivation, enabling me to recognize and reconnect with my purpose.
Through our transformative conversations and using the tools he provided, I was able to create a process for what I say yes to and better prioritize and balance my professional and personal goals. During our sessions I constantly noticed myself breaking down old patters and embracing a more strength-based perspective of myself and my life.
I am incredibly grateful for the space Darwin created. I have moved away from a life of insecurity and overwhelm towards a life of abundance and purpose.”
